CATAB&CO Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this website. This notice explains how we use information submitted through client and careers enquiries.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, facility location, project details, professional discipline, qualifications, LinkedIn profile, CV or supporting documents, and any information you choose to include in your message.
3. Why we use it
We use client-enquiry information to respond, assess scope, prepare quotations, arrange inspections, maintain business records and manage potential or existing contractual relationships. We use careers information to assess applications, communicate with applicants and manage recruitment.
4. Lawful basis
Depending on the context, we rely on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, legal obligations, and consent where it is specifically requested.
5. Who receives the information
Information is accessed only by CATAB&CO Ltd personnel who need it for the relevant enquiry or recruitment process. Cloudflare processes website traffic and form submissions as the hosting and security provider, and Resend processes form content and attachments to deliver enquiries to CATAB&CO Ltd by email. These providers act as technical service providers rather than using enquiry information for their own marketing. We do not sell personal information.
6. How long we keep it
Client enquiries are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the relationship, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. The period depends on whether the enquiry becomes a quotation, contract or completed project.
7. Recruitment information
Applicant information is kept until a recruitment decision is made. Unsuccessful applicant information is then deleted unless the applicant agrees that it may be retained for a reasonable period for future opportunities or progress tracking. Successful applicant information becomes part of the employment record and is retained under the company’s employment and legal obligations.
8. International processing
Services and applicants may be located across Europe. Cloudflare and Resend may process information through infrastructure in more than one country. Where personal information is transferred internationally, CATAB&CO Ltd should rely on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards provided by those processors.
9. Security
We use access controls, secure transport, restricted recipients, server-side validation and reasonable organisational measures. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
10. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and to withdraw consent. Contact catab.engineering@gmail.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
